Department of Climate Change and Energy Efficiency is inviting comments on a discussion paper developed by Senior Officials Group on Energy Efficiencyon the National Building Energy Standard-Setting, Assessment and Rating Framework. Comments are invited until 7 May 2010.
The Framework aims for consistency in how buildings are assessed and rated for energy efficiency and will set out a pathway for increasing minimum performance standards for new buildings over time and is developed under the National Strategy on Energy Efficiency.
