NATSPEC spring update

The IPWEAvic Central Highlands Regional Group took part in the Ballarat Careers Expo on 18th august.   Thanks go to IPWEAvic representatives Robert Ladd, Emily Mark and Lauren Burch and Les Stokes who took time out of thier daily scheulde to talk with prospective students about careers in public works.

Gannawarra Shire Council won an award in the Innovative Practice/Service Delivery section of the 2014 IPWEAvic Awards for Excellence for the refurbishment of the Quambatook Weir.  An article in the AWA magazine recognises the project.  Read the article here
