The Growth Areas Authority will lead the preparation of the Framework Plans, and a range of state government departments and agencies will assist in their preparation.

The process of preparing the plans has formally begun, with a call for submissions. Submissions should be sent to the Growth Areas Authority, and must be received by 3 November 2010. They can either be sent to Growth Areas Authority, Level 29, 35 Collins Street, Melbourne, VIC 3000 or emailed to gafpsubmission@gaa.vic.gov.au. It is our preference to receive electronic submissions wherever practical.

Following consideration of these submissions, a draft of the Growth Area Framework Plans will be made available for public comment in early 2011, before final consideration of the plans by the Victorian Government.

Please note that submissions may be made available to the public after the submissions period has closed. This may include publication on the internet.

If you would like to discuss this further, please either contact the information line on 1800 090 789, or the Growth Areas Authority on 03 9651 9600
